The latest release of our application, Swordfish Beta, is here! This release includes updates aimed at making your trading experience smoother and more reliable. Here’s what’s new:

DatabaseAPI v1.2
Added bid and ask member details to the DatafeedDepth table.
Note: If you are an existing user of the DatabaseAPI, please ensure that you have migrated your existing database to be compliant with v1.2 of the DatabaseAPI. An update script is attached at the bottom of this post. The update script can be used even if you are not yet using v1.2 of the DatabaseAPI (i.e. it is backwards compatible).

Previously Introduced Features in Beta
We also wanted to highlight some features that have been part of the Beta version of Swordfish for a while but haven’t been mentioned on the forums previously:
1. Default Confirmed on Reported Trades (SAFEX Agricultural and YieldX)
A new environment option is available that eliminates the need to manually confirm a reported trade on SAFEX Agricultural and YieldX. When enabled, a lowercase ‘s’ or ‘b’ will automatically be converted to its confirmed, capitalized counterpart, simplifying the confirmation process.
2. Default Dealer on Reported Trades (SAFEX Agricultural and YieldX)
Another new environment option is available to ensure that default dealer options are respected in reported trades when editing and accepting trades. This applies regardless of who the initial dealer was when the trade was received.
